Why are we not a church, and what is the difference?

• Church is the name given to people who follow the same beliefs and practices. Ministry is the term used to describe a church member's work to help the church grow and reach its goals. Church and ministry are different, but they are both essential parts of the Christian Catholic faith.

• Church and ministry are two different terms that are often used interchangeably. Ministry refers to a person's work to serve God and His people. Church, on the other hand, is a place where people come to worship God. There is a big difference between the two, and it's essential to understand them.

• Church and ministry are two different things. Church is where people worship God, and Ministry is what people do to help others. Church and ministry have different purposes, and they have different members. Church is for people who want to worship God, and Ministry is for people who want to help others.

• The key defining factor distinguishing the EMMI organization as a Ministry lies within the organization's primary purpose. The organization primarily aims to provide community support and outreach like the chaplaincy while conducting religious services. In that case, you can be classified by Industries & Commerce Canada as a ministry/religious organization. 

• A  ministry is smaller than a church. Therefore, a ministry with 500 members and a local church with only 50 members is not regular.

Pourquoi ne sommes-nous pas une église, et quelle est la différence ?

L'Église est le nom donné aux personnes qui suivent les mêmes croyances et pratiques. Le ministère est le terme utilisé pour décrire le travail d'un membre d'église pour aider l'église à grandir et à atteindre ses objectifs. L’Église et le ministère sont différents, mais ils sont tous deux des éléments essentiels de la foi chrétienne catholique.

L'organisation vise principalement à fournir un soutien communautaire et des activités de sensibilisation comme l'aumônerie tout en organisant des services religieux. Dans ce cas, vous pouvez être classé par Industries & Commerce Canada comme ministère/organisation religieuse.
